Blanco goes to Madero's aid
Activity of Mexican Revolution in
Sonora Suddenly Ceases.
Land is promised
El Paso, Tex., march 11 A
special to the Herald from Cananea says that the activity of General
Jose de la Luz Blanco has ceased as suddenly as it began and it is
generally believed he has returned to Chihuahua to aid Madero, who
was defeated Monday at Casas Grandes.
The town of Bocoachi,
Sonora, which was taken by Blanco, is again in federal hands. Letters
received from insurrectos state the Madero faction is promising
recruits home steads and pensions when the war is over if they are
victorious. They promise to confiscate all large landed estates and
divide them among soldiers who have fought the insurrecto cause.
