México plans quick capture of deported men.
Special
Dispatch to the Globe‑Democrat.
GALVESTON,
TEX, november 22.‑ The Mexican government has accepted the contention of Texas
in its refusal to extradite the alleged revolutionists, and is seeking their
deportation from the states.
Instructions have been issued to capture all of them, if deported, the
instant they land on Mexican soil, and give them speedy trial.
The
deportation method offers a better method for Mexico, because once inside her
territory she can seize the accused and do away with them, while the internal
agreement, governing extradition, requires that the prisoners can only be
punished for the crime of which they are charged when extradited. Evidence has been produced showing that the
four Mexicans deported from Arizona a few weeks ago were shot to death in less
than twelve hours after crossing after crossing the line.
